When I ordered this yarn, I had a surplice style sweater in mind and spent a lot of time planning just that.

However, once the yarn arrived, it told me (in that way only yarn can) that it really preferred to become a simple fair isle style tote.

After some discussion and swatching and more discussion the yarn won and is on its way to totedom.

I may be a pushover, but it seems the yarn always wins…
