Country Roads

Days off are over, time to get back to work.

As you can see, the drive is long but the traffic is easy.

Leaving the house.

First bridge.

Second bridge. (Definitely not the bridges of Madison County.)

Stop sign. Look closely, there is another vehicle coming from the other direction. Rush hour!

Third bridge.

Almost there.

Wait. Was that another bridge??

Finally! I’ve arrived.

I think the drape of this yarn is going to be wonderful, like being wrapped in a cloud.

Renovations

We are renovating a fishing cabin to be a full time residence.

First thing was air conditioning, then aerobic septic tank and updated bathroom.

Finally getting to my craft room! The walls will be up today and I will start painting.

Here is the before picture.

BTW, the red and black carpet won’t get to stay.

Just In Case

I chose a lace wrap pattern called “Lila” from Ravelry for my gift yarn.

This is what 3,510 stitches looks like.

This may take a while, but it is that much longer I will get to fondle my beautiful yarn.
