Lace Knitting

Instead of finishing my UFOs as I promised myself, I frogged an almost completed crochet tablecloth and knitted a Pi tablecloth (pattern is for a shawl by Wendy Johnson of wendyknits.net).

It went pretty quickly but I was in the twilight zone of bind off land with 1,152 stitches on the needles when the time came.

I will be blocking this week (it will have lots of lovely scallops around the edge) and have it on the table before Thanksgiving.

Very nice! I have done a couple of Pi shawls, but not gotten adventurous enough to do lace sections. 🙂

I hear you on twilight zone of binding off – you seem to go forever with no noticeable progress, then bam! You are done! Or, in my case, out of yarn and awaiting the post. 🙂
